Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (Fct), has promised to provide adequate legislation and over-sight for territory.
The committee chairman, Senator
Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, representing Yobe South, Senatorial district, stated this while addressing journalists, in Abuja, on Tuesday.
Bomai, is optimistic that the Fct Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, as an experienced former governor and administrator.
“I have no doubt what the minister, is doing as an experienced governor and administrator, his abiding of Fct.
“There is nothing you can do, you cannot revolk somebody’s land without adhering strictly to the laws. If you do that you will go to court and there will be alot of litigations.
According to him, the committee will do it’s best to make life bearable for Fct residents.
