A leading Aspirant for Ilesa North -East Local Council Development Area, Chairmanship, Honorable Omole Oluwasegun Omo-Osodi, has offered his heartfelt felicitations to Christians in Ilesa North-East, Ijesa Land, Osun State and Nigeria at large as they join their brethren across the world with a call on them to imbibe the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In his Easter message, Omole, charged Christian faithful to reflect on the genesis of the festival which is true love to mankind.
As they mark this great occasion, he urged all Ijesas to reflect on the season’s significance.
The Ijesa born journalist in a statement signed by his Special assistant on Media and Publicity, pst. Oyewole Afilaka, said; “Just as they celebrate Easter for Jesus’ victory over death on the cross and his resurrection that rekindles the hope of eternal life, they should also pray for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria.
This occasion should bolster the hope of our nation’s triumph over the current challenges of nation-building and the imminence of better days.
The Aspirant urged all Nigerians, particularly religious leaders and clerics, to pray for a peaceful coexistence in Nigeria.
”On this occasion, I want you all to continue to pray for the leaders at all levels”.
Omole Oluwasegun also called for prayers for God’s blessings and guidance for the incoming local government election in the Osun state.
