Osun East Gets Infrastructure Boost as Senator Fadahunsi Delivers 370km of Graded Rural Roads

Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, OFR, has successfully completed the grading of over 370 kilometers of rural roads across all 10 local government areas and the Modakeke area officeOsun East Senatorial District.

This large-scale infrastructure project is designed to boost agricultural productivity and economic development by improving access for farmers, easing the transportation of agricultural produce, and stimulating economic activities throughout the region.

Speaking on the significance of the project, Senator Fadahunsi highlighted the challenges previously faced by rural communities: “These roads were in a deplorable state, making it difficult for our farmers to transport their produce to markets.” The improved road network is expected to directly benefit local farmers by reducing transportation difficulties, thereby increasing their income and enhancing their livelihoods.

 

Community members, including farmers, leaders, and elders, have expressed deep appreciation for the senator’s intervention.

They described the road rehabilitation as transformative, noting that it will enable faster and more efficient movement of goods to markets and improve overall quality of life. Many called on other political leaders to emulate Senator Fadahunsi’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare and critical needs of constituents.
