The Senator representing Osun East (Ife/Ijesa) Senatorial District, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, OFR, has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the passing of Otunba Felix Babatunde Obada, a distinguished philanthropist and husband of the former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Her Excellency Erelu Olusola Obada.
In a personal condolence message, Senator Fadahunsi stated:
“I extend my deepest sympathies to Her Excellency, Mama Erelu Olusola Obada, on the loss of her beloved husband. This is a monumental loss not only to the Obada family but also to the entire people of Ijesaland and Osun State. I pray that the Almighty God will comfort you and grant the entire family strength during this difficult time.”
Senator Fadahunsi described the late Otunba Obada as a man of wisdom, integrity, and unmatched dedication to both the private and public sectors. He praised his outstanding leadership qualities, his gracious and bitterness-free family life, and his legacy as a man who embodied intelligence and effective human resource management.
“At this time of profound sorrow, I urge the public to remember the Obada family in their prayers. May God grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the Senator concluded.
