The Chairman, Senate Committee on Environment and Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Ajagunnla-Oodua, Olubiyi Fadeyi, has announced that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved the construction of a new 5 kilometers roads in Osun Central, out of which 1km access road will be constructed within the premises of the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ila-Orangun and remaining 4 kilometers will be spread across the district.
The project is designed to improve accessibility to the institution and significantly enhance healthcare service delivery within the region.
According to a press statement issued by his Special Adviser on Digital Media and Publicity, Bashorun Adekanola Desmond, and made available to the press, “The official flag-off ceremony for the Teaching Hospital road project is scheduled to take place later this March and will be performed by Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi.”
Although preliminary site clearing has already commenced at the Teaching Hospital in preparation for full-scale construction work, the formal commencement will be marked by the scheduled flag-off ceremony.
The initiative underscores Senator Fadeyi’s continued commitment to infrastructural development and improved healthcare facilities across Osun Central Senatorial District.
