The Integrity Group of Osun State has reaffirmed its unflinching commitment to the growth and electoral success of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held at the Osun State APC Party Secretariat in Osogbo.
The group in a statement signed by it’s director of Media and Publicly Units, Comr. Kolawole Akinsola, reads in parts.
The strategic gathering brought together key political actors, grassroots mobilizers, and party loyalists to critically assess the current political trajectory and chart a clear, decisive path toward victory in the forthcoming governorship election. The meeting was presided over by the State Chairman of the group, Ambassador Salam Mustapha Olamilekan.
In a strong demonstration of unity and shared purpose, the group passed a resounding vote of confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending his Renewed Hope Agenda and bold policy reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy and strengthening democratic institutions. The group described his administration as visionary, courageous, and resolute in its commitment to national development despite prevailing challenges.
Similarly, stakeholders unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) as the only alternative in the forthcoming Osun State, governorship election, slated for 15th August. He was described as a seasoned administrator, competent, experienced, capable, with political will required to restore purposeful governance and deliver meaningful development to the people of the state.
Deliberations at the meeting focused extensively on strategic mobilization, grassroots engagement, and the establishment of coordinated campaign structures necessary to secure victory for the APC. Members expressed concern over the current state of governance in Osun, noting that many citizens are increasingly disillusioned and are yearning for a credible, people-focused alternative.
In a decisive resolution, the group agreed to immediately activate its structures across the state to intensify voter sensitization, broaden its support base, and strengthen party cohesion across all local governments and wards.
The Integrity Group emphasized that time is of the essence and called on all party faithful to remain united, focused, and committed to the collective mission of reclaiming Osun State.
The motion for the formal endorsement of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji was moved by the Southwest Zonal Vice Chairman, Hon. Olusegun Omole Omo-Oshodi, and seconded by Mrs. Jimoh Shakira, the Local Government Coordinator for Olohunda, with overwhelming support from stakeholders present.
The group concluded by urging the people of Osun State to embrace the progressive vision of the APC, assuring that the emergence of AMBO as governor will usher in a new era of inclusive governance, economic revitalization, and sustainable development.
