There are credible reports that key actors, accomplices and likely suspects in the recent Ifon-Ilobu-Erin conflict have been identified and are now facing grilling by the Police and the Department of State Service.
A group, the Concerned Citizen of Ilobu, Ifon and Erin(CCIIE) had helped security agencies to identify key ring leaders across their communities who are being summoned to face questioning on their roles in the conflict.
The listed individuals were accused of
promoting fratricidal war, communal crisisas well as aiding and abetting arson, causing communal crisis and destruction of lives and properties.
They are to be confronted with details of their involvement after which they will defend themselves in a process that may end up in court and signing of peace undertaking.
Aside from the monarchs of the three towns, individuals listed in each town are about 110.
It would be recalled that Governor Ademola Adeleke had directed security agencies to go after perpetrators of the violence in each town.
