Supporters of Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi OFR, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries and representative of Osun East Senatorial District, have demonstrated massive backing by purchasing his nomination and expression of interest forms worth N20 million.
The gesture underscores the constituents’ strong faith in the “People’s Senator,” as they rally behind his likely bid for re-election.
Led by the senator’s senior legislative aides Elder Ayo Elijah Awodirepo, and Dr. Sikiru Bamidele Yusuf, the group expressed delight with Fadahunsi’s performance over his six-year tenure.
Elder Awodirepo, speaking on behalf of the supporters, praised the Ijesa-born lawmaker for consistently standing by his people. “Senator Fadahunsi has been a true champion for us,” he said.
Dr. Bamidele Yusuf echoed the sentiment, hailing the Asiwaju of Ilase-Ijesa for his impactful human capital development projects that have transformed lives in the district.
In a statement, Hon. Omole Oluwasegun Omo-Osodi, President and Founder of the Atunluse Asoludero Movement in Ilesa, described Senator Fadahunsi as an exemplary representative who prioritizes the well-being of Ife/Ijesa people.
“Senator Fadahunsi is a human capital developer. He has done well, and we know he will do even more,” Omo-Osodi affirmed.
