The Ajagunnla-Oodua ti Ile Yoruba and Chairman, Senate Committee on Environment, Distinguished Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi, has officially joined the race for the 2027 Osun Central Senatorial seat.
In a strong demonstration of support and confidence in his leadership, friends and political associates of the Senator in Osun Central on Thursday, April 30, *purchased the ₦20 million nomination* form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his behalf at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
The nomination form is expected to be formally presented to the Senator later today.
The group, led by *Hon. Akin Titiloye, (former State Secretary of PDP, former Commissioner for Agriculture, former Governing Council college of Education Ila, former Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Assets Management Chairman) Alhaji Rasheed Adeniji (Serving Assistant Organizing Secretary, Osun APC) Alhaji Success Ogundare (Former Special Adviser on health to Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola) Hon. Fasola Adebayo (Kingibe) former Supervisory councilor Ifelodun Local government) Hon. Fatokun Olusola (Former PDP Secretary Boripe local government) Hon. Samad Adeyemi (Party leaders)* alongside 15 other members of Team Ajagunnla, described the gesture as a collective decision rooted in their firm belief in Senator Fadeyi’s performance and commitment to good governance.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Hon. Titiloye stated:
“We are not acting alone; this reflects the widespread support he enjoys. Though friends and brothers contributed to purchase this form for him, he is currently unaware of this development.”
He further emphasized the Senator’s impactful representation and legislative excellence:
“We came together to purchase this form to ensure that the development being witnessed across Osun Central Senatorial District continues without interruption.”
The group expressed optimism that this step will enable Senator Fadeyi to sustain and expand his developmental strides, while continuing to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Osun Central.
They concluded by affirming that:
“Ajagunnla has touched lives and continues to bring smiles to the faces of youths, adults, and the elderly across the district.”3
