The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described Accord Party members of the National, State Houses of Assemblies and the leadership of the party in the state as a bunch of liars who fabricate mere conjectures against the opposition APC, its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and the leader of the major opposition party in the state, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, in order to misinform the unsuspecting members of the public.

It is necessary to inform the members of the public that after it has dawned on all the elected members of the Accord Party in Osun State that there is no miracle that can ensure the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the forthcoming 15th August, 2026 governorship election, they have gone to their drawing board to fabricate so many lies against the APC, Asiwaju Oyebamiji and Alhaji Oyetola.

It is either the Accord Party rumour merchants cooked stories about the imaginary attacks of their members or the discovery of a phoney spot where the APC was branding some vehicles in Accord Party logo in order to foment crises across the state.

We want to enjoin the members of the public to discountenance these frivolous and fabrications of the joint Accord Party family against our party, our governorship candidate and the leader of our party as they are only existing in their warped imagination to score a cheap political point which has fallen flat.

We are even surprised that the Accord Party stakeholders, this time around, did not ascribe the collapse of their campaign podium last Wednesday in Ijebu-Jesa, Oriade Local Government Council Area of the state to AMBO and Oyetola as anything that happens to them is always loaded on the minister and our governorship candidate.

The fact remains that it is fast dawning on the Accord Party family leaders and their members that they are fast losing the aspiration of their governorship candidate, Adeleke, for re-election in the forthcoming election.

How is it the fault of the APC, Oyetola and Oyebamiji that the Accord Party is fielding an unmarketable, unsaleable and difficult governorship candidate who ideally in a saner society is not qualified or eligible to aspire for the position of a local government chairman?

Whoever is blessed with hindsight would not beat about the bush before he can arrive at the fact that the confused and obviously fearful Accord Party family members in Osun State are only laying a foundation for the imminent loss of Governor Adeleke in the 15th August, 2026 governorship election.

Let all and sundry be informed that Oyebamiji, who is a man of peace that can hardly hurt a fly, does not need to engage in violence before he records imminent victory against Adeleke in the election as he has been toiling day and night while his arch-contender was busy following women of easy virtue, dancing, wining and dining across the globe.

Election is a process which foundation should be laid early enough like the diligent approach of our governorship candidate who had mapped out his winning strategy long before now as opposed to the fun-loving Accord Party governorship candidate.

The Accord Party family in Osun State should go back to their drawing board with a view to inventing another fabrication against our governorship candidate as it is glaring that this one rolled out in commemoration of June 12 has hit the rocks as usual.

What the handlers of the Accord Party are not taking cognizance of is that the people lose interest in them and their series of fabricated stories when it has become their hallmark.

Enough of lies and subterfuge to run the administration and re-election campaign of Governor Adeleke as such has not been adding value to the outgoing administration which manifestation is visible in the dwindling popularity of both the governor and his relatively unknown and unpopular Accord Party.

One thing is clear, our governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji AMBO, is a serious contender who is going into the 15th August, 2026 gubernatorial election to win and not a mere pretender whose best performance over the past three years are nothing to write home about.

We are not bothered about the ceaseless ranting of the Accord Party lawmakers at both the national and state levels who are jittery that their re-election is predicated on what becomes of their governorship candidate who obviously has lost the election before it is held, thereby foreclosing the chances of the lawmakers.

The long and short of this statement is to inform the whole world that our party has never and will never tow the path of violence to achieve its set objectives under any circumstances.

The members of the public should be extra-vigilant and keep watching the antics of the Accord Party handlers in Osun State as they are grossly guilty of the violent activities that they are accusing us of. Their false allegations are indicative of their planned sinister intention against us.
